Plans change. If you cannot make a booked class, the most useful thing to do is check the cancellation terms and update the reservation as soon as you know. A clear cancellation helps you understand your account and avoids leaving a booking in place by mistake.

This is a practical checklist, not a new YogaLife cancellation policy. The rules attached to your booking, pass or membership are the ones to check. Start with the current membership and pass information and ask the studio if you need an account-specific answer.

Find the exact booking

Open the account you used to reserve the class and check the session name, date and time. This matters when you have several similar classes booked in the same week. Make sure you are changing the reservation you intend to change.

Deleting a calendar reminder, closing the app or deciding not to attend does not itself cancel a reservation. Look for the current booking-management instructions rather than assuming that another action has updated the studio’s record.

Read the applicable terms first

Check whether a cancellation deadline, charge or credit condition applies. Avoid relying on a rule you remember from another studio or an older membership. A workshop or special event may also have different conditions from a regular weekly class.

Check whether your booking terms include a late-cancellation or non-attendance charge. This guide does not set a deadline, promise a refund or guarantee that a credit will be returned. If the wording is unclear, ask before making assumptions about the outcome.

Check the result after cancelling

After using the cancellation process, look at the booking record again. Keep any confirmation you receive. The important point is that the reservation’s status has changed, not simply that you pressed a control.

If the app freezes or you cannot tell whether the action completed, check before repeating it. When contacting the studio, include the class date and a concise description of what happened. Do not send passwords, security codes or full card details.

Keep membership questions separate

Cancelling one class is different from ending a recurring membership. If you want to change or end a membership, read its notice and payment terms and use the appropriate process. Do not assume that cancelling all your upcoming classes automatically ends recurring payments.

Similarly, booking a replacement class should be a separate decision. Check its availability and terms rather than treating a new reservation as proof that the earlier one was cancelled.

Make the next visit easier

Once the account is clear, choose another session that fits your diary. Leaving enough travel time and checking your week before booking can reduce avoidable changes, but you do not need to commit to an unrealistic routine.

Use the YogaLife Handforth app to manage bookings, and contact the studio if the cancellation status, terms or account balance needs explaining.
